ABOUT MAMI DEM VOICE

Empowering Women. Amplifying Voices. Transforming Communities.

We are a women-led grassroots organization committed to creating opportunities, advancing rights, and strengthening the leadership of women and girls across Cameroon.

Why Mami Dem Voice Was Founded

Mami Dem Voice (MADEV) was founded in 2022 in response to the persistent social, economic, and gender inequalities affecting women and girls in Cameroon. Many women continue to face barriers to leadership, education, economic opportunities, healthcare, and participation in decision-making processes.

Recognizing the need for community-led solutions, MADEV was established as a platform where women and girls can raise their voices, strengthen their capacities, and influence positive change within their communities.

Today, MADEV works alongside communities, institutions, and development partners to promote gender equality, advance sexual and reproductive health rights, support economic empowerment, and create safe spaces where women and girls can thrive.
