Mami Dem Voice (MADEV) is a grassroots women-led and community-driven nonprofit organization based in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. Founded in 2022, MADEV works to amplify the voices, experiences, and leadership of women and girls while advancing gender equality, social justice, and sustainable development.
We create safe and transformative spaces where women and girls are heard, empowered, and equipped to thrive within their communities. From leadership development and advocacy to SRHR education, economic empowerment, and gender-based violence prevention, MADEV stands with women and girls in vulnerable and underserved communities.

Mobilizing communities, institutions, and local leaders to foster inclusion, accountability, and collective action for gender equality.
Across many communities in Cameroon, women and girls continue to face social, economic, and structural barriers that limit their opportunities, wellbeing, and participation in society. These challenges affect not only individuals but entire families and communities.
Many women and girls continue to face unequal access to opportunities, leadership positions, education, and economic resources that would enable them to reach their full potential.
Gender-based violence, harmful practices, discrimination, and stigma continue to affect the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of women and girls in many communities.
Many women and adolescent girls lack access to accurate information, support services, and opportunities that can help them make informed decisions about their lives and futures.
Through grassroots engagement, advocacy, education, and empowerment initiatives, MADEV continues to strengthen the lives of women and girls while building more inclusive and resilient communities.
Behind every statistic is a woman who found her voice, a girl who gained knowledge, a survivor who received support, and a community taking steps toward equality and inclusion.
Our programs are designed to empower women and girls, strengthen communities, and advance equality through sustainable and community-driven interventions.
Developing women leaders, strengthening civic participation, and creating opportunities for women and girls to influence decisions affecting their communities.
